Dear All,

SAVO is (SEGA) Saturn Atari Video Output connector board created by me.  The board is replaces the RF modulator on the motherboard and provides the seamless AV signals upgrade toolkit for the Atari XL/XE series. No more drilling the Atari case. No more homemade AV cables.

Features

  • RGB output
  • S-video output
  • composite output
  • stereo audio output
  • easy install - no drilling the Atari case
  • Sega Saturn AV output in place of RF modulator antenna hole
  • Sega Saturn to Euro SCART cable included
  • compatible with many Sega Saturn cables variants available on the market
  • compatible with Atari 600XL and 800XL (1200XL version will be available soon)

Best used with:

  • VBXE / VBXL
  • Sophia 2 (analog RGB) - partly supported
  • Spectre AV
  • UAV
  • PokeyMax / TK II Stereo and compatible boards

Typical use cases:

  • SAVO + VBXE/VBXL + stereo board – best option
  • SAVO + VBXE/VBXL + legacy mono audio
  • SAVO XL in Atari 600XL NTSC (no drilling the Atari case for S-video and composite signals)

The SAVO package is delivered with the following parts:
