Anyone know where I can buy the internal connectors at the end of the joysticks?

I think the 2600 and 7800 joysticks have the same little internal crimp connectors that attach to the board. I have a bunch of 7800 joysticks where the cable is badly damaged and I'd like to cut the cable past the damaged section and crimp new connectors (I realize this will shorten the cable.) I would prefer to just replace the cable but Console5 has not had the replacement cables for some time now, so I figured I could just try new crimp connectors if anyone knows where I could purchase them.

Why not just strip some bare wire on the ends and solder them onto the pads instead? That is what I've always done. I never liked those crimped ends because they just all seem to get loose and break in half over time anyway.

just spade connecters aren't they?
Try an autofactor as they are used in many 12 volt applications (well on old cars anyway)
