Converting Home Office to Atari Man Cave

Recommended Posts

Slowly over the last week been converting my home office into a small Atari (and other) Man Cave.  Using what I own, an Ikea Kitchen Table and Bench for sitting, as well as moving around all my desks and such, trying to maximize a small room into a fun place I can leave many of my Atari up and running when I want.  This is better than moving stuff in and out of a 2nd storage rooming when I want it.

It is not perfect but works for me.  I now have my Atari Mega ST2, Mega STe, TT030, and Falcon on this table that is in the middle of the room.  A bench allows me to use 3 on one side of the table while the Falcon is right there at the end when I can use a nicer desk chair for long term use.

Over time I hope to continue cleaning and working on the office to make it even better and easier to get to stuff.  Still lots of stuff I need to clean out but getting there.

Get another table and slap another 3 setups on the backside of your current 3!

Not enough room.  haha. Only a 12x12 room.  Wife's desk is behind that table and she needs a room to have a chair, etc...

Made a quick video of my progress so far.  Usable now with lots of work to do but was a fun job to get started and looking forward to a year from now to see how much further I have taken this.
