How does it compare to the Atari version, Rick?

It stacks up against the Atari version REALLY well. I like it alot. The only difference I can really see so far is the explosion when you kill a Swirl... Instead of all different colors as in the Atari version, the colors in the Intellivision version are all yellow and white.... The sounds seem quite the same and pretty much all the game-play is exact. The colors in the shield are all crisp too even playing in AV mode. I imagine they are even crisper in RGB mode... A great port for sure..... Right now I'm over 200k with like 8 guys left.... I shoulda recorded it...... :P

Ok something else I've noticed. In the Atari version playing Game 2 which is the Standard Game you max out at 9 extra guys. In the Intellivision version playing Game 2 which is the Standard Game apparently you can get infinite extra yars.... I'm at 385k right now and I must have like 20 extra guys (Yars') in reserve. So playing Game 2 the Standard Game this can apparently be played forever..... There are harder variations, if you press button 4 I believe that's the Bouncing Yars' version and pressing button 6 is Ultimate Yars'..... Much harder I'm sure.....

EDIT: I just played to one million to see if the score rolls over or if it has a 7th digit.... And the answer is........... It rolls over....... :P

I love the port, but the Standard Game on the Intellivision is MUCH easier than the Standard Game on the Atari.... Both are button 2.......
