raymondjiii
I just opened one and the rods are a bit corroded. I know you get new bearings but I'm thinking of using an auto grade sandpaper and maybe super light oil or polish. The ball has some marks on it but no dings. Just give it a good going-over with warm water and dish soap, and dry with a microfibre cloth. If it's particularly grimy, 90% isopropyl alcohol and/or ammonia can help to remove residues, etc. Since it is a cue ball, the following applies: How to Clean Billiard Balls: Step by Step There is polish sold for these sorts of things, but you probably don't want to make it too slick or your hand won't be able to get traction on it.
