FlightSuit
Hi everybody, long time no post! I'm hoping you can help me with a problem that recently developed with MAME OS X: When I launch a game, I can hear the game running, but the game window just displays a black screen. When I first choose the game from the list of available ROMs, its start screen displays for a second on the right-hand side of the menu screen, but once the game is running, I get the black screen. I had not changed anything in MAME OS X's preferences, or under its "view" or "effects" dropdown menus, but maybe I need to fiddle with something there? This is MAME OS X version 0.135, running under MacOS Mojave 10.14.6. I did try telling MAME OS X to audit my roms, but that does not seem to have helped. The Read Me file inside my ROMs folder doesn't say which version of the rom set I have, but it's pretty old. That shouldn't matter, though, because I have not updated MAME OS X at any point, right? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Now then, my keyboard mapping seems to have possibly changed, and I can't find a screen or preference for changing which keys correspond to what buttons on an arcade cabinet. Could you remind me, please, where and how I can change that? Thank you!
+SpiceWare
Been a while, had to look it up. Thankfully the Mac mini that drives my TV is on an older release of macOS that still supports 32-bit software. Hitting TAB when viewing the list of games just takes you to the play count: Need to be running a game to access the configuration menu:

Between MAME OS X and Quicktime Pro 7, I am coming to terms with the fact that I must never update my Mac beyong MacOS Mojave, because I don't want to ever break compatibility with this software. I would be so screwed if I had to find a proper replacement for MAME OS X and then seek out a current ROM set.
