Curmi
Forum member Ed Riley (winkdot) created a number of Homebrew 2600 games over the years. He sadly died in 2019. Member Brian Matherne ( @Arenafoot ) put together a wonderful Dedication archive of Ed's games, including a memorial file, and linked to the zip file in a number of places on these forums. Thank you Brian for taking the time to do that for Ed, and also for all of us. I've recently been making some cover art for 2600 games without them (to complete my Batocera set) and so I made some art for winkdot's creations as I couldn't find any around. I thought I'd collect them up for anyone else who might find them useful. The images were actually created using DALL-E (so AI generated) which I thought added a bit of life than just some generic text. I also made some marquees (Atari font) and put together some descriptions in gamelist.xml format for Batocera (but you could copy and paste the descriptions into anything you are using for emulation). I hope I'm not offending anyone by doing this, I just appreciate the games winkdot made and wanted others to also. I've added these to Brian's archive and attach the new archive here. I hope some of you find them useful. And thank you winkdot for your creations! The archive is attached, along with some previews of the art. All the best. My fav (and what really captures the game play) is Doom Patrol. Your welcome! Thank you for the kind words! FYI - a handful of Cows cartridges were produced (in 2020) with the artwork done by Ed's daughter, Lindsay. https://www.facebook.com/groups/519858548078322/posts/3121601224570695/

If I had quality images of his daughter's work I would have put that in the cover art for sure. What a lovely tribute. Thanks @BLASTERS, though DALL-E did all the images; a use for AI other than killing us all. I also used this website (https://www.labelmaker2600.com) and then some hand editing with Pixelmator to get rid of curved edges, get the dimensions right for cover art, and then Pixelmator to do the text marquees (using an appropriate Atari-like font). Here is the official release and a copy I had made.
