Better ST Terminal App?

Recommended Posts

I have been using TAZ for many years now and it's a great ANSI terminal!   It does have one little issue.  On my PAL ST the screen has this flickering thing going on that's not nice at all in ANSI mode.   I am sure on a real ST  monitor you would not see it at all but on my Asus 27" with a RetroTink it is very very bad.  The Flash terminal does not seem to do this but it has no ANSI mode.

Anyway.  I have been collecting ST ANSI terminals here:

So What do other folks use?

That's been a thing with Taz due to how it gets those colors for you... That's why I always use ANSITerm.

I've been known to use Interlink sometimes if I want one of the plugins... but generally, I tend to favor ANSITerm when calling the ST BBSs from my Falcon.

If you want I'd be happy to test it.

I already PMed him with the obligatory "hey, could I sneak a peek at the source" and "hey, want me to send you a WiModem232"  :)

I'd love to do some work on a term program, but I really don't have the time or energy to start one from scratch and reinvent the wheel. :(
