Here are details on this season: Games will start at a new time, around 8:30am PDT. A live scoreboard for the game of the day will be on the website. The season will consist of 12 weeks, including two inter-network weeks. Each team will have two bye weeks during the season. The championship series will take place on August 7. Shortly after each game is completed, its video will be posted to the league's YouTube channel. It was all on the Bombers' closer to shut down the River Raiders, but the River Raiders smacked a single up the middle, then BANGED A HOME RUN down the left field line on the 3rd pitch of the inning!!! Four straight wins, outscoring opponents 8-1, and three straight shutouts. Check out the TRIPLE PLAY by the Bombers in the first inning. Don't blink! The Beamriders cut the lead to 2-1 in the 4th with a single. The Beamriders then blast THREE RBI singles in the 7th inning to lead 4-2 and hold on for their first win! The Mutants tied the game in the bottom of the 9th on a fielder's choice. Both teams battled until the 20TH INNING when the Upmonsters hit a walk off single to win 2-1! The Smash tied the game in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI single. The Ghosts took advantage of bad fielding and pitching by the Smash and scored THREE RUNS in the 4th. Tell me you guys play a baseball league with the original Major League Baseball Intellivision game? That would totally kick ass. I would probably have to get a ROM version to join in on the festivities. My two favorite baseball games are the first MLB on Intellevision and NES vs. Baseball.
