Rabbit Transit: 24,524 (At least he had a 'hoppy' family!)

The Official Frogger: 9,380 (Oh, Frogger went a-crossin' the road and the river! Frogger went a-crossin' the road and the r-r-river! Frogger went a-crossin' the busy road, cause you know he's no lazy toad!)

Communist Mutants From Space: 4,480 (They should've come from Mars, since it's the Red Planet!)

Anyone please  tell me what I need to play the stargate Frogger on a uk 2600 system

You need the Starpath version of the game which comes on a cassette, a cassette player to play it, and a Supercharger to connect the cassette player to your Atari via the cartridge port.

Well then, since I have neither Stella Gets a New Brain nor a Harmony cart, you can just send that my way. I also do not have any of these three games.

Finally on to carts i don't have!

Rabbit Transit - 16272

Never played it, hadn't even heard about it. Like a Froger & Q*bert mashup...Q*ger.  I want to see a screenshot of that whole field filled with baby rabbits!

Interesting choices this round. I don't ever recall seeing the supercharger here in  the UK, and I'm not sure it ever arrived here. So it's interesting to play these properly now.

Rabbit Transit is the weakest of the three imho. It looks good, and has some nice touches (eg the cutscenes), but it feels like it could have done with less focus on the presentation and more on the game.

I also confess to being a bit disappointed with The Official Frogger. Parker Brothers Frogger was my favourite Atari game when I was a kid, so I was really looking forward to an improvement on that. But despite looking fantastic, the gameplay felt a bit sluggish, and the monophonic tunes soon grated. It's still very good game, just not as good as I'd have hoped.

I'm probably in a minority of one here, but I think I actually still prefer the Parker Brothers Version. The gameplay feels quicker and snappier to me, and I prefer the balance of a smaller amount of better music. That could just be nostaligia and me defending an old favourite though.

My favourite of this bunch is definitely the briliantly bonkers Communist Mutants from Space. Fast frantic and fun, and exactly the sort of thing that made the 2600 such a hit  . . . .even if it is just  a (very good) Galaxian variant with a silly back story. This is the sort of game that could have only ever come out in  the early 80s, and probably only in the U.S !.

Anyway, that's enough from me, here are some scores.
