Darkhog
It's the first result in google and due to it being very outdated, may confuse newcomers that just want to try it. Not sure if any of the current devs have access to that site (though somebody obviously must be paying for hosting/domain name), but yeah, having it around in the state it currently is (with last post related to 1.0, when we are already on 1.7 and then some BS about crediting your car or whatever) is really confusing for anyone who heard about Batari as an easy way to make 2600 games and wants to try that.
+Karl G
I'm pretty sure @batari owns that site.

I lost the site - I let it expire. Little did I know that whoever sniped the domain would then put up a copy of the old site with ads to get revenue (a common practice.) I don't think there is a lot that I can do to get it taken down. Sorry.
Darkhog
Shame. Perhaps someone who has deep pockets (not me, unfortunately) should set up a domain sniping bot so if the current owner slips up with payments they're take over the domain. Or try to use DMCA against the host (since the site is a copy of the original one+ads instead of regular "domain parking" ad site, you may posit that it contains materials copyrighted by you and take it down via DMCA).
