HOME AUTOMATION Posted June 21 Share Posted June 21 Portable players generally use a high-cut filter, so turn the treble adjustment up all the way. Unless you recorded the tape recently, and are playing it back on the same unit. I would confirm/adjust head tracking to dead center, by listening for best high-frequency response.
