diamax
Hi, Can you please help me to configure an USB PC gamepad for the JZINTV emulator, I'm using the latest build and I start it with the GUI ?
Acepower
Just put a checkmark right next to that #0, under the "Joysticks" label. jzIntv will automatically use the first controller available. And I suggest to erase that 8dir text, except if you want to use the DPad. For fine tuning you will need to press the three dots next to joystick #0 and explore the options there... mr_me
The joystick flags can change some analog settings but the defaults typically don't need to change. The first two analog axis are automatically mapped to the emulator controller's first joystick, the next two go to the second. So unless there is some issue with analog input, like adjusting deadzones, the joystick flags can be left cleared. They have no effect on the dpad of typical PC game controllers. Changing any controller button mappings including dpads, and analog input is done with a keyboard hackfile. So you'd have to create a text file with those mappings. Here's the documentation. http://spatula-city.org/~im14u2c/intv/jzintv/doc/jzintv/kbdhackfile.txt Edit: What would you like to configure? By default the disc is mapped to the left thumbstick, the side buttons mapped to face buttons, and the keypad is mapped to the dpad. If that's not working, the emulator isn't recognizing the controller. Edited July 8 by mr_me
