99V Posted August 25, 2023 Author Share Posted August 25, 2023 So let me expand on the what I need Sound person: I need someone that can make a few different missile sounds, explosions, ship sounds, gun loading and shooting sounds Graphics person: ships, starbase, earth, background, explosions, different missiles, weapon shapes Programmer: for great gameplay and function I will give input on all aspects and will get involved in whatever is needed. I also will incorporate changes based on how they fit the game and if they are good changes. Let me know if you are really good at any of these three areas. Remember serious and in a good mood. I'm not one to tell anyone to "get out!" but if you join a group, real or virtual, and it's doing little more than causing the issues that you seem to be having, seems like the best thing to do is just leave. I can't imagine any rational sense in going anywhere and just continuously butting heads with the locals... accusing, tattling/reporting, defending, etc. Just seems like a waste of life. Regardless, best of luck with your game if/when you get someone to make it for you. If it was normal tit for tat stuff maybe. This is harassment, lying, posting private stuff, saying outrageous things, adding people to private threads. I didn't do a dang thing so I'm going react the way I need to. What started it all was this; 1) Someone agreed to work with me 2) I sent them about 4 pages of a game design. I typed it all in. It took me an hour of my time. 3) They immediately backed out. It was too much to handle I guess 4) I said: Are you kidding? Reading triggered you? (I said this because the person already said it has been hard to work with others). And for that I've been harassed by him and his friend for almost a week. So yes I need to report this kind of stuff. Hopefully it will stop. I saw my game being discussed ten years ago. I never came on because I know how message boards are. This is proof of why I was right for hesitating for so long. Tons of people sign up to post on the forum every year and rarely are there issues like this. You came here expecting issues and then helped create them, kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm the one who hid a group of posts early in this thread, which included gems like this: Since you just want to accuse the forum being full of "kooks posting PRIVATE messages in public" (another message that was hidden). And you very much overreacted to the one private message that was posted, exaggerating there as well (it was a single message). And half of this thread is just you drumming up more drama. So, I'll make it easier for you to focus on your project and will lock this thread.
