So as I was saying from the other post, when I finally did get a cradle, the cradle had broken teeth so it wouldn't really stay in place, so something had to be done about that eventually, and when i worked on the cradle replacement I was content with doing that as a solution, but then EightBit MilliGames made a comment about wishing he could use his actual cradle again and that got me thinking so..   

 

 

if you'd like some made they are $10 for a set of two (nice to have a spare) and this includes shipping.  The final versions will be a beige color or black, kinda just depends..  I can make them to order.

Super Smart idea.
Back in the 80's I screwed the cradle to the keyboard because back then I never cared about the boxes or hardware.
 

Now that they are collectors items this is a great solution.

Thanks, I'm working on a version 2 now though as I've decided that while the teeth are OK.. I really want them to be even stronger so I've ordered a plastic welding kit and looking to see what other materials i can use.

This approach worked really well for the cradle teeth.. revising this tooth fix to use a similar approach for longer lasting teeth, but unlike the other i'll have to do a few iterations / test prints to insure it's as sturdy.
