Does twin stick on Atari 2600 work on the champ games robotwar demo version?

Having probs getting the twinstick going on the demo version. I am correct in assuming the demo download should work with 2 cx sticks plugged into the 2600 console

Yes it works, have played quite a bit this way and I feel it's easier to play and more like the arcade (which I never had the pleasure of playing)
