Draugr
Hi, My friend will sell me an Amiga monitor 1084S, but I'm not sure if my Atari 8-bit computer will work with it. I have a 130XE adn a standard 8-bit monitor cable is on its way to me from a store. It has the typical Croma, Luma, audio RCA like plugs. Will the 1084S be able to use these cables and work with the 130 XE?
El Destructo
Indubitubly. In other words, yes. This is how my 130XE is set up. Just connect the RCA plugs to the appropriate jacks on the back, and set the monitor's mode switch in the front to "SEP" (separate chroma/luma.) You'll only get sound out of one side, unless you add a Y-splitter. Better yet, install a stereo Gumby upgrade!
