Atari Ps3000

Recommended Posts

I am looking for some info on a few items I have currently I have a PS3000 atari monitor and an old Activision Adventures catalog that looks like is made out of newspaper. I am in the process of trying to clean some excess of my collection that I have accumulated over the years and I can find little info on either item. The monitor does not have the power cable so I have no way of testing it. Debating on whether I should sell the monitor but no clue what to put it up for.

If this post is not allowed please feel free to delete it.  Thanks

Moved to the Atari ST since the PS3000 is an ST monitor not an 8-Bit monitor.

IIRC the PS3000 requires a special power supply due to the built in disk drive.  You're going to have to search hard to find one.

Can someone help me with the relative value of the item if I was looking to part with it as is?  While I have some atari computer items I want to keep in my collection this is something I may want to part with it as I may trade it off, I just have no idea what it is worth.  Thanks

I would have thought that with no power supply and it's unusual connectors and voltage requirements,

untested, not worth a lot, maybe to someone who wants to try build a PSU for it, but as it is hardly

worth the shipping costs.

I would tend to agree. Without knowing whether or not it works, they're potentially paying a lot to ship a giant paper weight.

Building a power supply for it doesn't seem like it would be too hard. It'll be coming up with a compatible connector.
