I'm waiting to see if the retro bit wireless genesis controllers work. They work flawlessly on the OG 2600, no additional power required, just plug the receiver in to the controller port and away we go.

Good to know. I never tried my 8bitdo adapters (have one BT and one 2.4Ghz), because the power pin in Mega Drive is different, so I did fear it would burn the equipment.

I saw some guy get one of them to work I think. On youtube. I also have these controllers for my genesis mini, but i lost the damn usb terminals for them by accident so I *think* they're worthless now lol. So can't test. Also he had some kind of whatever the atari pin connection is called to usb and I don't have that. (the Mega 7800 adapter I guess it's called)

But it was kinda shocking to see someone use a wireless controller with it. I'm happy with my ranger tho, hate charging wireless controllers constantly, even if the wire/lead is a pain

The AtariAge Super 78 arcade stick works great for 7800 and 2600 games on this new 2600+ console

If the Seagull 78 adapter works too, a genesis wireless receiver could be plugged into it, or an 8bitdo retro receiver to connect almost everything🤔

I've read the Mega7800 adapter fails on the 2600+ (only one button...), not sure if that is now confirmed.

In the past I feared the lag but most of the time it is Ok and a Dualsense does not need much loading. The PS3 controller was empty once you touched it.
