Before anyone gets too excited, I haven't made up my mind whether to ride it out or sell and turn my back on Colecovision games.  I sold my CV when I got the Phoenix and anyone who has followed the history of the Phoenix knows the console has had issues and is still a work in progress, which has hopefully only temporarily stalled, as the 3rd party who developed the cores for Collectorvision has left them high and dry, and Collectorvision are currently searching for someone to take the job of continuing to refine and develop the Phoenix cores.

Plenty of Phoenix owners don't seem to be having issues but some, including me still do.  I've noticed sound glitches with a minority of my homebrews and Space Fury.  Usually a sound effect is accompanied by a low popping noise from my tv speakers or, in the case of Moon Cresta, the firing sound effect is completely missing.  I have tried my headphones, different tv's and different hdmi cables and it makes no difference.

Bearing that in mind, if I decided to sell, is anyone interested and how much would they pay?  I see on PriceCharting.com they have sold from US$556.99 to US$985.  I don't necessarily want as much as that but at the same time, I want a price that makes me decide to sell it instead of holding on to it in the hope a later core update fixes the sound glitch issue.

That is good news.  I didn’t expect one for ages.  I REALLY hope it fixes my issue.  I guess I won’t sell until the update and only if the issue isn’t fixed.

Holy Smokes! That's insane... I guess the resell price will continue to stay high if there's not a new run of them in the near future. Bummer as I'd really like one.

they hinted that they might try to find a way to do another run in the future.

I sold mine for 400 with boxed Sydney.  It sold in 5 minutes.  Ask at least 6. People are hungry.  I kinda felt like you, I didn't have any problems but I still used my Colecovision and emulation the most so it had to go. The development side was disappointing. Hopefully they get it going again but honestly,  emulation is so close to perfect on these simple computers that fpga is way too much of an expense for little to no benefit.  Sometimes even worse results.
