Shift838
I am disabling the orders. The store is not working right, it is not calculating shipping at all. If you have ordered you will get a separate email for shipping.

Kchula-Rrit
Just put in an order for one, to build without sockets. Is there a list of needed sockets available? I am going to order sockets for another project, so I thought I would add them to my socket order. K-R.

Kchula-Rrit
Thanks for the list! The picture of the prototype showed what I assume is the clock board hides the connector it is plugged in to. I have some on hand, and the rest I can order. K-R.
Shift838
I have added a page to my site that also has a link to a manual I put together for it. SHIFT838 Homepage I will be making a video over the next couple of days and get it posted of it working on both the TI-99/4A and Geneve computers.

On Page 5 of the PDF file, under CRU Select, the switch is described as a "16-bit hexadecimal switch." May I suggest it read a 16-position hexadecimal switch? K-R. GDMike
Did you hint that you will build a "geneve" type computer? Oh, sorry, that's stuff bouncing around between my ears again...
Shift838
no, @FarmerPotatois already doing that.

And since @Ksarul pointed out the bus-connector-on-top possibility, I'm thinking of an old design idea: twin backplanes. So Geneve 2020 could sit in the P-Box. Discuss over in my thread.

Nice work. Initially, I was going to ask you to change the reference to the minimum MDOS version from 7.42 to 7.40. However, 7.42 fixes a bug that impacts the IDE (and Horizon) devices, so I suppose this is appropriate even if it is a development version. @9640News and I haven't settled on a release date for 7.42 but it should be 'soon'.

+dhe
Hi @Shift838 I looked in the manual before asking - great job on the manual. When hooking up the power cable, Red cable closest (up) to IDE connector?

The 5v (red) is closest to the IDE connector. 5v and GND are lined up directly behind on the 2-pin header as well. 3
