For the recent hardware versions, you can wait for Mozzwald to create another batch or buy Lotharek’s version from Poland. Assuming you are in the US, it takes about 10-14 days to receive product from Lotharek. However, he has very good build quality. I purchased an SIO2SD from him a few years ago. It was built like a tank. Bob C

Yes, these are all still being made, and I've mentioned before, tell the vendors (via contact pages or social media, etc.) that you want to buy them, so they will make more of them. Because we are such a small community, it's the only way that these vendors can properly gauge demand. -Thom

I also have 1.7, but I just don't have the time to put them together yet. T.A.P.
Thanks for the responses. I signed up for updates from that mozz guy a while ago, only for them to sell out within, like a day of getting the notication last time. Every so often I check back in only to see I missed the latest restock, so the whole thing ends up getting pretty frustrating some times and I end up just shifting my focus to other systems, only to repeat this cycle again and again. You may want to wait until MacRorie has more Fujinet 1.3 devices available. When Mozzwald has devices available, you need to be ready to buy within a day or two (at the most). I don’t think he has the ability to produce at volume like Lotharek has in Poland. I know it’s a pain to order from Europe, but it might be the best option. Maybe someone will decide to import the devices from him to make it easier for US buyers to buy the product. I’ll defer to others as to whether you’ll be ok with the 1.3 hardware version. I know the SIO pins are too short which is an issue if you want to attach the vintage SIO device (810, 1050 drives, etc). Bob C
T.A.P.
Eh, sounds like the 1.3 version has other issues too. If I am going to drop $70+ on something, I don't want the "bad" version. Edited November 2, 2023 by T.A.P.

Forrest
AFAIK, there are no issues with the Fujinet 1.3 thebrewingacademy has been selling for the past year. They have all been fixed.

invisible kid
Hi, I don't have one, but I went to check out esphomeflasher. I tried installing it a few different ways, but always get $ esphomeflasher -h Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/esphomeflasher", line 5, in <module> from esphomeflasher.__main__ import main File "/usr/src/fujinet-flasher-master-github-2023-11-25/esphomeflasher/__main__.py", line 10, in <module> from esphomeflasher.common import open_downloadable_binary, open_binary_from_zip File "/usr/src/fujinet-flasher-master-github-2023-11-25/esphomeflasher/common.py", line 9, in <module> os.environ['SSL_CERT_FILE'] = os.path.join(sys._MEIPASS, 'certifi', 'cacert.pem') ^^^^^^^^^^^^ AttributeError: module 'sys' has no attribute '_MEIPASS' Would you know how to fix this? I run an "unusual" flavor of linux, so it is likely I may need to fix my environment.

If you are using a debian (11 or 12) based version, use the Ubuntu tar.gz. It works fine on stock debian or even under linux under ChromeOS / ChromeOS Flex.
invisible kid
Linux From Scratch(LFS). It's a build-from-source based distro, so no package manager. It would take a bit of work to use a prebuilt executable because it expects a more recent version of glibc. I think when i "build" from the source, it doesn't produce an esphomeflasher executable, but in the directory ../build/lib/esphomeflasher I can do "python3 gui.py" and get the same error. I think the executable was installed when I tried installing it via pip. I don't have a cert file named cacert.pem, but have tons of others, some from debian. I'll try poking around for it. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14987857/what-exactly-is-cacert-pem-for https://curl.se/docs/caextract.html I'll probably be able to figure it out. I may have to do additional processing with the cacert.pem file before it is usable. But it also might be a red herring.
