Also make a note of this Fabrice. The text viewer window uses the default Windows settings, ussualy white for read/write text and light gray for read only (grayed out) text. I will add some extra options to the configuration window for this.

My Notepad on MS-Windows 11 is set to display white fonts on dark background. That could be great to have this kind of configuration with TI99dir.

Where I can make a note?

@F.G. Kaal I downloaded the latest version to a freshly-built Win10 machine. When I run TI99Dir, I get the error message "VCRUNTIME140.DLL was not found".  I downloaded and ran the visual studio C++ redistributable package but that didn't solve the problem.  Please advise

Do you have both runtimes installed x86 and x64?  I've had several emulation utilities that needed both installed to run properly.

 

I usually have all the VC++ redistributable runtimes installed 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015-19.  Both the x86 and x64 packages.

And keep them in a folder that can be transfer to a USB stick for new builds (clean installs).

 

This usually cleans up any issues for windows programs.  You never know what VC++ version was used there.

Thanks.  I installed the x64 runtimes not the x86.   I will try the latter tonight.

I ran into the same issue. Searched, found, copied and pasted VCRUNTIME140.DLL from the CONVERT 9918 directory and was good to go.

Ti99Dir is a 32 bit program. At least it uses my 32bit DLL LibXBTKN32.dll for converting program-text to tokenized (Ext.) BASIC.

From the bottom of @F.G. Kaal's TI99Dir web page:

 

The latest version of Ti99Dir is build on Windows 11 as a 32 bit program and should still run on XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 (Not all tested by myself).

 

So install both runtimes, x86 & x64, for a Windows 64bit system.

Hahaha ... my bad spelling. I also made a note of this , you don't have to do it also.
