Also make a note of this Fabrice. The text viewer window uses the default Windows settings, ussualy white for read/write text and light gray for read only (grayed out) text. I will add some extra options to the configuration window for this. Edited January 6 by F.G. fabrice montupet
My Notepad on MS-Windows 11 is set to display white fonts on dark background. That could be great to have this kind of configuration with TI99dir. Where I can make a note? +InsaneMultitasker
@F.G. Kaal I downloaded the latest version to a freshly-built Win10 machine. When I run TI99Dir, I get the error message "VCRUNTIME140.DLL was not found". I downloaded and ran the visual studio C++ redistributable package but that didn't solve the problem. Please advise Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/356452-ti99dir-version-91a/page/3/#findComment-5390971 Share on other sites
+Torrax
Do you have both runtimes installed x86 and x64? I've had several emulation utilities that needed both installed to run properly. I usually have all the VC++ redistributable runtimes installed 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015-19. Both the x86 and x64 packages. And keep them in a folder that can be transfer to a USB stick for new builds (clean installs). This usually cleans up any issues for windows programs. You never know what VC++ version was used there. Hope this helps. 3 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/356452-ti99dir-version-91a/page/3/#findComment-5391077 Share on other sites
+InsaneMultitasker
Thanks. I installed the x64 runtimes not the x86. I will try the latter tonight. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/356452-ti99dir-version-91a/page/3/#findComment-5391082 Share on other sites

Please advise I ran into the same issue. Searched, found, copied and pasted VCRUNTIME140.DLL from the CONVERT 9918 directory and was good to go. 2 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/356452-ti99dir-version-91a/page/3/#findComment-5391488 Share on other sites

At least it uses my 32bit DLL LibXBTKN32.dll for converting program-text to tokenized (Ext.) BASIC. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/356452-ti99dir-version-91a/page/3/#findComment-5391710 Share on other sites
+Torrax
From the bottom of @F.G. Kaal's TI99Dir web page: The latest version of Ti99Dir is build on Windows 11 as a 32 bit program and should still run on XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 (Not all tested by myself). So install both runtimes, x86 & x64, for a Windows 64bit system.
