RGB mod - RF not reqired ?

Hi,

 

I just installed the TMS-RGB mod in my Colecovision and it doesn't seem to be powering on, at least no video output is displayed.

 

I removed the RF board (connceted via the 8pin to the main board) and wanted to double check that the RF is not needed for the Colecovision to work. I didn't think it was, but wanted to verfy before I begin touble shooting other areas.

The RF board isn't required.  (I did most of my testing during the TMS-RGB's development with the RF board removed.)  So, at a minimum you can rule that out as being part of the problem.
