What's the best way to transfer large files (ie larger than 800kB) to a Megafile HD with an Atari ST?

I have a Gotek floppy, but it too only can do disks up to 800kB large.

Also, how can I transfer individual files? Disk images in .ST is no problem, of course. But how to transfer .PRG files, say?

The best way is to use a netusbee where you can transfer files over the network. There is a program also that you can transfer over serial cable that I used to use. But netusbee is way much faster and easier.

Cosmosex is also a fantastic device that you can do a lot of other things too, but good luck finding one.

Think you're referring to UIP tool?

Which really is a great tool for those with NetUSBee since it doesn't require any STing or any other setup.  It has all it needs, so you just run and go.  I use it to help remote-admin my BBS as well.

There was also a program called Splitter which could chop files into bits that would fit on a floppy disk. There were DOS and Atari versions iirc and you essentially chopped it on the PC and then stiched it back together on the ST.
