+jgkspsx
Apple iOS: Apple News - 40 min Pinball Breaker - 20 min Arcade: Black Widow - 15 min Time Pilot - 30 min Atari 2600: Mr. Run & Jump - 20 min My long ago preorder of this finally game in. While the graphics suffer from some of the worst flicker I've ever seen, the gameplay and control is spot on. Atari Jaguar: Protector Resurgence - 20 min Awesome to finally play this without even having to get a Jag CD. GCE Vectrex: Hera Primera - 25 min Minestorm II (twin stick hack) - 10 min Solar Quest (twin stick hack) - 20 min These are collectively known as the Twincart with custom menu to boot: SpideX - 35 min Not a direct Black Widow clone but its own thing. Somewhat simplified but still a great time. Microsoft Xbox 360: Rock Band Blitz - 45 min Good night, sweet prince. TNT Racers - 20 min I'll miss these stupid popups. Nintendo DS: Away: Shuffle Dungeon - 25 minutes Started a new game of this after many years and that's how I feel too. Nintendo Game Boy Advance: Worms Blast - 330 min I mostly played vs mode but I worked on the rest of the game too. I have absolutely no idea how these puzzles are supposed to work. Nintendo Switch: Endless Ocean Luminous - 140 min Tetris 99 - 20 min
oyamafamily
Atari 2600 (for HSC) - Fantastic Voyage - 105 minutes I tried to improve my score, but I reached my best score of circa 360,000 points, lower than my personal best (401,480) for Major League Tournament. The NEW HSC Season 15 Major Tournament in which I participated was very competitive and more exciting. With 1 strike received at the end of Final Round, I won the Silver Medal (Zilch Sr. and JasonAtari won the Gold and Bronze Medals, respectively). I am very happy by winning the medal as I expected.
TheGameCollector
This past week I played: Knuckles' Chaotix for Sega 32X - 148 minutes Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land for Game Boy Advance - 93 minutes Metroid for NES - 166 minutes Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards for Nintendo 64 - 141 minutes Mario Clash for Virtual Boy - 148 minutes Progress: Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land - I played through the whole game, finding all the secret switches, unlocking Extra Game. Mario Clash - I played through the game using save states only to start from the beginning of the level if I lost, until reaching level 56. Knuckles' Chaotix - I played through the whole game as Knuckles & Mighty, getting all the Chaos Rings and defeating the true final boss. Kirby 64 - I played through the whole game, but did not get every single crystal shard. Metroid - I played through the whole game, getting all the powerups, only skipping a couple missiles I didn't need.

Regarding Mr. Run and Jump - I posted in a dedicated thread for that game and @Thomas Jentzsch helped explain that they are using a very old style kernel that doesn't handle flicker the way almost every 2600 player is used to. It is so obvious that it almost seems like a choice - like maybe they thought the game looked so bland that flicker offered some variation. I've had a copy since I purchased on Woot a few weeks ago. I decided that I just couldn't enjoy it without save states, but YMMV. AND . . . Thank you for commemorating that the 360 store is officially offline. I didn't buy anything, but I noticed yesterday because now when you log in, it doesn't even display the center XBox "Live" tile on the 360 dashboard. Truly the end of a glorious era. 3

Kurt_Woloch
Here are my times for this past week (July 29th through August 4th) on classic gaming... Unfortunately, there are no times because I didn't play anything... at least not that I could remember. I'm now in another hot phase regarding my flat exchange... I'm already living in the new flat, but I'm constantly fetching things from the old flat, and I've calculated that using a trolley I have, I'd need to go about 100 times back and forth, so I now chosing to use bigger things to transport everything. Sadly, the rollable table didn't survive this, and now I'm trying a phono wagon. Let's hope it continues to hold up... 3

As always, the debate of how to log time when playing a compilation raises its head for me this week. I did my best to sort things, but it was quite the string of compilations this time. I also posted about some recent playtime in Ghostbusters games here.

CapitanClassic
July 29-Aug 4: Had a small amount of gaming this week. Didn't make much progress on LoZ:ALthP. Kind of forgot where I left off. I stumbled upon the Bar that gives you half (twice) magic. I know I still need to pickup a heart container on the mountain, and one of the spells (since I got the master sword). Didn't start Crystal 2, but set a save point there so next time I play I can get right into it. Somehow I got to thinking about classic racing games on SNES, so played a couple of tracks of Rock n Roll Racing. It seems much easier (and slower) than I remember, compared to Rare's R.C. Pro-Am. Which reminds me I need to beat the Genesis version (Championship RC Pro-Am). PC Modern Faster Than Light - 240 min I lost my old save game, (not really lost, but on another computer), so I just started from scratch. Unfortunately, I am not that good at this game. I see people on Twitch doing no loss runs multiple times in a row, and i've played 4 rounds and died before even getting to the 3rd sector. SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - 45 min Ronk n Roll Racing - 35 min

I'm fine with calling this PSP, though I think I have called this exact same software PSVita before.
