Hi all, I'm having difficulty getting the procedurally generated music out of Ballblazer (NTSC 7800 cart) when playing on the 2600+. I'm not sure if it's a limitation of the emulator (I'm running ver1.0) or if I'm doing something wrong in the game. It won't play the randomized notes, but it seems to play the other lines. Any insights?

I've only ever played it on my 2600+, so I don't know if it sounds like it should or not, but I'll post a clip later so you can compare.

Mine is a PAL cart, and I'm using the latest beta firmware. My cart would glitch and was not playable on the shipped firmware but runs perfectly now

You're not doing anything wrong.  The procedurally-generated music doesn't play correctly on v1.0.  (I'm guessing that has to do with ProSystem's limited POKEY support.)  That said, it plays just fine on the v1.1 beta firmware.

Edit: I should add that I also have the NTSC version.  The red end label variant if that makes a difference.

That's awesome...I can't wait to download and install the beta firmware after work!

Can Confirm! I installed the beta update without issue, and Ballblazer is immediately making the sweet sounds I'd hoped for. Can't wait to dive into more.
