TIPI unable to setup from TI BASIC as CALL TIPI returns * BAD Name

Recommended Posts

New TIPI user but it is a no go.
TI 99/4A
32K side port expansion which is working fine.
TIPI connected to 32K side port
Raspberry PI Zero W (I am using Dupont jumper connectors to connect the Raspberry Pi because it already had a male pin header installed)
SD Card with the latest image installed from the GitHub page
Does anyone have any reasonable ideas about how I should troubleshoot this?

I to have a new TIPI, haven't tried it yet, But here is the link to the creators wiki https://github.com/jedimatt42/tipi/wiki.

Also there is a support thread for TIPI issues here. It is listed in the Wiki. Have you found it and read through it yet? Have you checked the 32k to see if it's powered from the bus or external power?

did you power the 32k and set it to EXT?

also I see you posted this to 4 different facbook ti groups, this topic.. but you didn't use the tipi support topic.. I suggest using that instead of everything else
