Having trouble setting up a new VCS, please help.

I just received my new VCS and it connected to my wifi okay but I am unable to update the BIOS or create a new account.  I get errors like something went wrong and try again later.  I skimmed through this board and saw they were having server issues a while ago.  Are they still having issues?

Also, for the account, is it different from the account I have on their website, that I used to order the VCS?  Thanks.

Try plugging in via ethernet.  If that doesn't solve the update issue then you'll have to flash a USB with the newest OS image and update it that way.  Please join the VCS Discord server if you haven't already and go to the troubleshooting channel.  There you will see pinned messages at the top of the page with video guided instructions.

As for the account, there is no connection to the Atari website account you created previously.  That account is just for the website.

Thanks joe.  I found some posts about that along with the video instructions.  I am in the process of flashing with the USB now.
