You can get two cables for the price of one Atari cable. I'm also going to check Best Electronics. I’ve been using the extensions for about 2 weeks on and off. Not had an issue yet. I do just keep the joysticks plugged into them. Are your pins bent? Mine fit fairly snug into the extension cable end.
