Armor Ambush Reloaded isn't working on Stella 6.7.1 for me. Is it for anyone else? Hitting select just scrolls the backgrounds and nothing will make the game start.

You should definitely check out the thread for Armor Ambush Reloaded for full information on how to play. Here's the relevant info you need to start the game:

How does it work ?

- Select to choose the scenery

- Press both button (Player 1 & 2, yes it's a 2 players game) to start

- Reset to start again !

- Difficulty A/B => changes the range of fire. Either short range (and you shoot at higher rate) or long range.

You control the tank by going up, left and right, and switch from one tank to the other by going down. Fire ? fire.

I always thought this category is about the pure essence of videogaming - take one simple mechanic to provide insanely addictive playthrough - Bot and Tom would be one of the best examples of that - however Laserface managed to exceed my expectations. It’s basically full-fledged platforming adventure, with varying gameplay, an actual story built into 4k rom. Unbelievable.

I couldn't believe it when I got to the second kind of screen. The fact you move to the center of the screen edge when changing screens is the only thing I really don't like about it.

I don't know how the screens are defined. Maybe something similar to Pitfall! or maybe manually defined. Probably the latter.

I'm not seeing where people could have voted on Game Panic 3, Dragon Chalice or the digital download variant Dragon Chalice Mini.  Tried the other sections and my eyes failed me in other areas of the topic too.

 

I feel like I missed an important step or two.. or three

Game Panic 3: Was eligible last year as it was released in 2022 but unfortunately did not get nominated.

Dragon Chalice: Unfortunately did not get nominated.

Dragon Chalice Mini: Unfortunately not eligible as it's a variant of Dragon Chalice.
