But YOU'RE building them.

No one else.

So that responsibility falls on YOU.

You didn't even show us a video of your last cartridge working on YOUR systems.

I'm sure you own a cell phone right?

It only takes about 20 seconds to make a video showing demonstration of a functional product.

The fact that you didn't even do that for your perspective customers? Speaks volumes.

"Experimental stage" IMO is a fancy term for, "I may or may not know what the fuck I'm doing, and I'm not going to do the proper testing to find out, but go ahead and send me $130 and hope that I'm not ripping you off by selling you something that doesn't work"

If you want to continue to half-ass things by thinking that fancy designs on a cartridge covers up for a faulty product?

Again, that's on you.

If you're going to try to profit off of aotta's hard work? You should at least do the proper due diligence there Cleo McDowell.

That way you won't look foolish.

Again.

Sorry, I don't have too much time for this conversation with you, especially because you seem to be trying to make fun of me.

The original RTOs I sold had a disclaimer on the sales site, for the prospective buyer to investigate the product to see if it's right for them. The new PiRTOs I sell will have a stronger disclaimer (because, as already discussed, it's not my design). The original RTOs I made were not half-assed - a lot of time and money was spent in getting it to look good and to work well (within the limitations of the original product/design). Trust me (or don't, I don't care, and it doesn't really matter), there was no profit from the original RTO I sold. I don't blame anyone for that except myself, but I am definitely decreasing my risk for the PiRTO.

If anything I'm trying to save you the embarrassment of going through what you already did.

All your disclaimers in the world won't make up for the fact that you may sell somebody a faulty product without doing the proper testing before you release it.

Like I said there's not even video of your last product, working on YOUR systems.

Why?

And you know what else is interesting?

*Nobody* that bought it, ever showed ANY video of it working, on any system out there.

All of these multi-carts out there in the retro gaming world.

LTO Flash, aotta's carts, Backbit, etc.

The ONLY ONE we haven't seen actually working, is yours.

And here you are trying to do the same huckster shell game, once again, while also further distancing yourself from any responsibility, if it doesn't work.

That's crap.

Okay, thanks for your concern, then.

Like I said.....

One video.  Of this cart working on YOUR system.

One.

You owe that to the people on this board who are potential customers after your last failed venture.

It (the original RTO I sold) failed because a) it took me too long to get started on the first batch, b) it took too long to assemble the batches, c) the PiRTO came out after only two batches were made (probably that's a good thing, though), and d) some expected it to work on every system, even though it was never advertised that way. It did not fail because of lack of a video. A video would only tell someone that one cart worked at one point in time.

@Crash7, RTO and PiRTO works for dozens of user with Inty I & II in NTSC, PAL & Secam tv systems. It's a DIY homebrew project (even if 5-11under sold a little batch of his variant of the RTO) and it seems not to work with SSVA and SPS later version of Intellivision, as you learnt yourself in the worste way.

If one day i'll have on my hands a SSVA or a SPS i'm sure i could find a solution, but they seems quite rare, almost here in Europe.

5-11under offered you the refund, afaik, so i think it will be more interesting for all talking here about new PiRTO and stopping the children's squarrel about the video.

It would be nice to see at least one of the original RTOs up and running, just for the sake of some piece of mind.

Most of us who purchased them are probably collectors however, and like myself may not have the technical computer savvy to figure it out,or never had any intention to.

But just in the event anyone is going to sell them off,it would be nice to say that they work.

I believe about 35 of them are out there,so hopefully someone steps up with a video of one working on an Intellivision  1 or 2.

Edit:Aotta just posted when I was posting these most likely work on some systems, thank you for the reassurance!

My collection is on the box and in the manual, so from my personal standpoint it matters a little less whether it works because I would want one anyway. 😄👍

Please continue.  I'd love for a very nice, communicative maker of classic game products to get disgruntled and leave.  I didn't want to develop new physical Atari, Intellivision or Coleco games anyway.

I don't have a problem with your cartridges Andrea, because you have shown that it works through screen caps and video and most important, you're not charging.

He is.

I don't think it's unfair at all, to want to see a working, video demonstration, of his latest product, before it's released considering what happened with his latest attempt to copy your work.

It's not only the Super Pro system that it's not working on, it's all models.

Just like I said, nobody than has bought his product has shown that it works.

And I'm pretty sure that everyone that has it, that it's not working for?  We all don't own Super Pro System's.

No worries, I'm here for you. I and my products surely aren't perfect, but we both try.

@wolfy62, for you I'll upload a video. All was working great until the MicroSD card went flying out of the spring-loaded socket. ;)

Very good.

Was that so hard?  No

You should do that for your next one also.

Like I've told people here, I know about backdoor, underworld of providing content for customers.

I know how the game works.

It's not a crime to be upfront and honest with people, there should be no need for the continued song and dance.

Dude, I don't think anyone ever asked for videos before today, and stop being sarcastic, or whatever that is.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about here, nor do I care.

Bye. I won't be able to see any more of your posts.

I'm looking out for every person on this forum.

I guess we'll see what happens with his latest attempt.

But knowing his history? It's not going to be good.

Not by being a dingle donk.  No hero refuses to listen to the feedback people give him.  Blocked.

Are there special Intellivision flavored popcorn? Because I suddenly feel the urge to eat some.

I've been welcomed well by the Intellivison community.  Even when I interject into heated topics.

What confuses me is when people go full big anger mode.  It just doesn't have any place in a pleasant community.

mmmmm Popcorn

I prefer the on screen menu over navigating with the small screen, but really just happy to see a solution that works.  Please someone point me in the direction of ordering a fully built unit

Thank you Aotta and 5-11 under,much appreciated!👍😊

If you have several Intellivisions and are willing to test your RTO cartridge on them, the feedback would likely be more helpful than seeing it work on one system.

The videos are about 4 different Intellivisions... but...

Who need help? 😂
