Atari has launched the first stages of the Atari Club.

You can VOTE on what you want them to work on.

Such as Atari VCS integration!!

Thank you for raising the issue. We have noticed some rate limits occurring, specially late last night into the early hours this morning. This is due to the volume of users signing in. We should have this resolved within the next few days. Note once you are signed in sessions are saved in cookies and will allow auto-login.

I have to admit that I don’t quite understand what VCS Integration refers to… integrating with what? I assume it just means support for the system?

Perhaps they mean putting some Atari Club app on the the VCS dashboard?

In theory it could serve as kind of an Achievements system for the VCS maybe. Otherwise probably just an app linking to the club? Fine, I guess? So far I haven't really seen the Club do much other than initially serve as an NFT hub (bleh) and then have some exclusive physical merch, which is cool.

Ah, didn’t think of it for some reason. Since we already have Chrome I’m not sure that it would add a lot value… at least for me. Although I suppose the UI could be made big screen and controller-friendly.

I really hope this is not going to be some weird NFT thing although it does look that way.  Those things are dead in the water and to be honest I think that's a good thing.

I really need to check this out! I downloaded the app on to my Atari VCS 800 after watching Davpa show it off on his latest Twitch live stream earlier. I personally think it's really cool and i like the area of the app that's kinda similar to PS Home from back in the day, looks like it will be fun to explore 🙂
