Eye of the Beholder on LynxGD

Hello all!  This is my first post!

 

I just got a LynxGD and was going through the library of the Lynx for the first time.  Having a ton of fun discovering new games.  I can confirm that a LynxGD on ver 1.7 runs all 71 retail games without issue as far as I can tell.  What I wanted to see is if anyone has had any luck getting Eye of the Beholder to launch?  I get the title screen but then nothing.  One of the versions of the game does seemingly go into the game but its more of a slideshow of various aspects of the game, pretty odd.
