kevin6569
This is a weird one. I'm using an LTO flash cartridge with an original Intellivision and I can scroll through the menu, my controller functions properly. Once the game is selected, the controllers don't work. I've tried it with another original Intellivision, and everything works fine. Any thoughts on the problem?
+Lathe26
When you select a game, the LTO issues the reset signal to the Intellivision. Some Intellivisions don't response so the LTO + Intellivision look hung. I have an Intellivision that does the same thing. Just do a quick tap on the Reset button and the game should start.
nick3092
I believe there is a bipolar 1uf cap in the reset circuit. If it's a reset issue, replacing that may fix it.

The increased capacitance doesn't effect the operation of the reset circuit in this case in a noticed way so if you have anything from about 1 - 4.7µf, should be good to go. kevin6569
Thank you for possible solutions. I have another Intellivision I was using, but I like the picture on the one with the controller issue better. Turns out the mylar in the controller needed to be cleaned - I found this out after I recapped the whole system. Well, at least it should last me another 20 years.
