I can create directories, but it errors out with an open/dsr error when attempting to copy files from a TIPI folder to it. I have yet to test copying from real floppies. No problems copying files from the TIPI to the IDE using Force Command. Anyone else encountered that issue? are you using TIPI.FILES or DSK0.FILES ? you have to use the latter in DM2K

Curious as to the reason for using DSK0 instead of TIPI though.

I'm assuming Fred uses the first 3 characters of the device to decide how to handle the files and he has not put TIP in there

Management routines don't use the device name, they use a 'unit number' .. most programs subtract ascii '0' from the last character of the device name to get the unit number... that doesn't work when it is an 'I' (eye) as in TIPI. So TIPI implements the synonymous device name DSK0. for this sort of compatibility.
