Brek Martin Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 (edited) Updated to Fury (Phoenix Edition) 05/07/24. Thankyou to the tester credited in the pause screen for encouraging source recovery. After learning about some more Suzy optimisations, it became tempting to try! Optimised sprite data and linked some sprites for Suzy chip, Various performance and memory optimisations, Improved collision detection accuracy, Five lives in all games, Implemented Bug AI for all regular aliens from wave four onwards. The last update covers a period from the 6th to the 8th of June 2024, while updates were still being done, mainly optimisation, but one cause undesired behaviour. I have backpedalled those last two days of code, weeding out the good stuff. The optimisations may not be detectable to Humans in the final binary! The only practical enhancement to the 06/06/24 update is printing "GAME OVER" on the end screen when a game ends without being completed. People should start to understand that the minute they share something with the world, especially works of art, it doesn't entirely 'belong' to them anymore.
