apple basic text file (from a PC) to c2t (or wav) file

Hi all,

 

is there any way to convert apple II basic code from a text file to a wav file that could be loaded by a real apple IIe?

 

For the zx spectrum, there are tools like zxbasicus in which code in a text file can be converted to a tap file to then be loaded in the spectrum.

 

My apple II is barren, no disk controller or any other card. Many thanks
