Anybody remember Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee (PS1)?

I don’t see anyone here talking about the original Sony PlayStation or its games, so maybe I’ll start the topic?

 

Oddworld was a game I loved but never beat due to how excruciatingly difficult it was for a PlayStation game.

 

But I think the game is good even if I make it to the end only for Abe to get murdered because you didn’t rescue enough Mudokons although if you murder them all you get commended for some reason which is humorous.

 

I still think it’s a unique title that I managed to get one birthday because I loved the franchise so much because it was so neat.

 

Of course, Abe farts often because the game is so weird to me.

 

I even showed a teacher back in high school and he was grossed out by Abe appearing in the main menu.

 

I’ll also make another post about this particular console that anyone can post on if they have one.

 

Doesn’t the game also make sense about the current state of the world we live in right now? Just a thought.

I was thinking about this very game just a few days ago, for no particular reason.  I thought it was very imaginative, and wish I could have played it more, but I only had a PlayStation for a few days.

I bought this one more recently,  like a year or 2 ago.  I'd wanted it BITD,  but for some reason never got around to it...Neat game,  I've barely played it but so far so good..

I remember it, but I never played it. I was too into other games to pay much attention at the time. 🙃 I've heard good things, though!

Oddworld Inhabitants is easily one of my top five favorite developers. Anything they produce I want to play. To me, they're like the Tim Burton of video games.
