lwdallas
Two questions: 1) Are Jag Fonts bitstream fonts? 2) Where do I get them? I mean, surely somebody has made good reusable fonts.... er... for Atari... Maybe a better question, is there a TTF to bitstream convertor you guys use? +CyranoJ
Oh, sorry, you rolled a 0. Critical fail https://nfggames.com/games/fontmaker/lister.php is a good place to look. SlidellMan
I can make some for you, and even made templates in Paint.NET if you want to make your own. Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/367037-searching-for-jaguar-fonts/#findComment-5473013 Share on other sites
lwdallas
Awesome! I may hit you up for them, @SlidellMan! Do you switch to the font somehow in code? I grabbed a font from the site listed by @CyranoJ but it didn't work for me. Do I have to use the sleight of hand from scroller.bas? I would prefer to just rapPrint(). Does one load the font somehow in addition to putting it in the fonts path? Sporadic
Replace the existing appropriate font bitmap for the size you are swapping out. Also, partial.bmp contains the 4 bit palette that's used for the font, so update the palette in there too. Alternatively, there are some font functions to load a palette in.
