channelmaniac
Hey, do y'all know any TI developers? I'm one of the folks putting on the VCFSW show in Dallas, home of TI, but damn... it's like finding hen's teeth finding someone from TI BITD willing to speak at a conference. The audience is VERY friendly and we've found folks from other companies willing to speak, but it's almost like there's an iron curtain on the stage for folks that did dev work on TI computing gear like the Professional PC and the TI-99/4a. We're pretty full up on speakers for the show in 2 weeks, but am always willing to make room for the right people or get them on the list for next year. Thanks, Raymond
Stuart
Karl Guttag, TMS9918 and 9995 developer? Think he's based in the US. Gene Frantz, speech. Don Mills, TM990 evaluation boards (https://www.linkedin.com/in/donald-mills-b249a24/). Seen Darren Appelt mentioned in a few places. channelmaniac
Thanks, I know Paul as here's here local and has been to my shop, but he's not a fan of public speaking, which is different from all the other TI folks we've tried to contact in this area who just simply either don't respond or decline.

Try reaching Karl via his blog, he would be one of best to speak, but not sure if he would respond: https://kguttag.com/author/kguttag/

digdugnate
I'm not sure, to be honest, lol. My dad wasn't a 'big' developer, per se, but he sold a bunch of stuff to them from when he worked at Texas Instruments Sherman (his name is Sam Moore, Jr.); he absolutely will not engage in any kind of TI nostalgia. 1
