vrocko
So pulled out the old 3DO and set it up on a SD TV I still have in the basement and it works great. Played some Star Fighter for awhile then went looking for any "new" games to burn on to CD. Found Tempest. It's a great game! The programmer did a great job on it and it's just as fun as it ever was. Found a game called BioFury online done professionally in a case and everything so I ordered one. Should see it soon. Tried to get Tomb Raider to work but it just kept spinning so I must have done something wrong. Have to try it again. Are there any other homebrew games for the 3DO? Seems the 3DO homebrew scene is kind of lacking. I see some cancelled games I'd like to know if they got anywhere with like Descent and Big Red Racing. Like to see them come out depending on how far they got with them.

Tomb Raider btw is a work in progress so that may be your issue. https://www.ebay.com/itm/186265110570 Edited June 16 by Wing_Commander
vrocko
Got BioFury in the mail. Nice game. Kind of like the original Wolfenstein and fun to play. Re-burned Tomb Raider and got it to work. They've done a great job on it. Hope they can do the whole game. Burned some other games I found online. Pacman, Tetris and Tetris II, Space Invaders, F1GP Racing and Autobahn Tokio. Wow Autobahn Tokio needs lots of work. One of the worst racing games I've played and believe me I've played quite a few. There's more games out there than I thought just needed to look around. I've got quite a few original games that came out when the 3DO came out like The Incredible Machine, Shanghai, Star Fighter, Battle Chess, Battle Sport, Gex, Gridders, All the Shockwave series, Star Blade and more. Hope the homebrew community picks up on the 3DO. I saw a possibility of Wipeout for the 3DO as they had a demo. Hope they finish it. 31 year old system and here I am pulling it out and playing it more than I probably did when I first bought it.
zyzixgames
Hey there. I'm the developer of BioFury, the Tempest port, and some other stuff. If you have not yet checked out the 3DO community discord you may enjoy it. https://discord.gg/mQrMfqNA There is a dedicated projects area along with all things 3DO. I go by Retro Love Letter on YouTube and usually post project updates and what I'm working on. I go by Zyzix Games on everything else. I'm currently working on a DOOM / Killing Time style engine and there is another guy working on an MK2 port. PS: I'm glad you like the games!

I hope you do more and others join you. I'm on the 3DO discord now under Vrocko as well. I'll make sure to check it more often. Thanks again for your work!
