lymontyme
This one is a long shot: does anyone remember a simple blackjack program, clearly written in Basic, that allowed over a dozen players to play at once? To say it was primitive is an understatement. There were no graphics whatsoever. The computer would deal the first card, cycling through each player with a message such as "POPEYE'S FIRST CARD IS THE JACK OF CLUBS." Then it would do the same with the second card, and finally ask each player if they want to hit or stay or whatever. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I've checked every blackjack game and every Basic game compilation that I can find on Apple emu sites, with no luck. Of course it's so simplistic that I could probably rewrite it in Qbasic, but I'm just curious if anyone has seen or found the original.
