Eventually, I will have to add one of these to the random collection of TI 990 bits that I've acquired over the years. . .

Add to “Items that Ksarul doesn’t already have”.

If you’re not gonna put together  a working 990, you don’t need a programmer panel.

@channelmaniac found another one last year, so they're not completely uncommon. I have the normal one, mounted to a /10 chassis.

@Jimhearne has done a scaled down 990 programmer panel.

Bonus points if you spot the deliberate mistake, took me ages to spot.

Don't bother following the web site link, there is not TI990 stuff there yet.

I've got a real panel now as well although most of the buttons don't work.

Yup, that's it.

Not too much of an issue if you are just using it as a panel.

But i now have the front panel hooked up to a PIC micro which in turn is connected to a PC and a virtual copy of the panel.

The eventual aim is to be able to download and upload test code from the PC to the system via the front panel.

Anyway, i had the PIC interface connected up to the correct pins according the the schematic and then spent several days trying to work out why the PC LED's didn't match the front panel LED's

I sold mine to a TI collector at VCF Southwest this past weekend. He offered me a lot for it and I said "no, that's too much..." and we settled on a price. :)

EDIT: ROFL! Looking at the first post... I see I'm answering my own sale. :D

Thank you so much for showing this to me!  I can't wait to complete my 990/10A.
