We will be doing it a little differently this year to try and make it more efficient (travel faster & less expensive). After sign-ups are done, we are going to map out the travel the box will take, taking into account where each member lives. This way the box will not travel back & forth across country for no reason. I will then post the map that the Loot Box will travel, along with the numbered list of participants. We ask that individuals do not ransack the Loot Box of all valuable items. Although you can take multiple items, please remember there are others that may enjoy a chance to get some cool items. Please do not use the Loot Box to throw your garbage away! I'm talking about actual garbage like wrappers, cardboard, baggies, etc. Try to put items back into Loot Box of equal value of the items you took out. Try to donate Intellivision items only (or atleast vintage video game items) to the Loot Box. There is no time limit on how long you hold the Loot Box, but we ask that you try to keep it moving. We all understand life happens and you may not have time to quickly ship the box out. That is ok. We just ask that you do not take months to do it. Everyone involved enjoys seeing what people are putting in, or taking out! Posting pics and info on what you may have received is encouraged.. but not mandatory. Keep in mind that we are all doing this for fun. It's a way for us to give & get items we may have & do not need, or items we want to share with other gamers & collectors. One last thing, but it's an important one! Shipping for the Loot Box can get pretty expensive. For example, it cost me over $110 U.S. to ship the box to Italy. Please keep this in mind. There are a couple people that will have large shipping bills if the 2025 Loot Box travels similarly to this year's Loot Box. *(U.S. to Italy, Italy to Australia, & Australia back to U.S.) will all cost alot. For this reason, we're going to encourage shippers in Italy & Australia to acquire a little more from the Loot Box to offset costs. (We need volunteers. Please let me know if you are ok with shipping the box from your location to Europe & Australia). If you do not want to take on the added shipping cost, we will make sure not to list you last in North America. Whoever ships the box from North America to Europe or Australia will get the box back 1st from over seas to start the next Loot Box. 2025 Intellivision Loot Box is ready to go, and will start it's journey August 1st. All we ask is that you try to put in same value as you take out. It will not always be exact, and that's OK. We want to spread stuff around and try to make everyone enjoy the Loot Box.
