New Batch of Colecovision improved MCP design (Plus CV-NUC and Phoenix versions available)

Recommended Posts

This is a revised version of the Colecovision MCP.  It also has some improved design features and added additional systems (CV-NUC+ and Phoenix)

For those who might have missed the first batch and don't have time to watch the video, the Colecovision Master Console Protector (MCP) is a cartridge socket protection system.  You plug this in and it stays in to mitigate wear and tear on your internal system pins.

The original was only made with the Adam and Colecovision due to those being the only ones I own.  However thanks to @1980gamer and @timdu I was able to borrow their devices and build a new custom enclosure for each system.

These come in Bone White (close to aged beige), Black, and Gray.  Just let me know what color you'd like.

Made some design improvements to the enclosure from the first batch as well.  You can order on Etsy, or you can contact me directly for discount, especially if you order with other 8-Bit Widget products.

I have about 15 left.  Some preorders cut into the new batch stock.

If you purchase directly from me it's $39.99 including shipping.  Etsy price is higher to mitigate at least some of the fees / taxes from that platform.

As a special offer, if you buy an MCP, I will include a Colecovision Controller Coupler for $10

That's pretty dang neat, good job! :)

thanks! :)    I'm excited to have the Intellivision and 7800 versions available soon.  Waiting for the PCBs to arrive in the mail while I refine the enclosure with my test boards.

consequently, I will be bringing some rare/old CV controllers as well though they actually belong to @1980gamer I'm just bringing them to return them to him as he loaned them to me for a bit.  Might be the same ones.. maybe not?  :)
