What kind of game would you make, if you had a controller with 24 directions?

I'd love to hear some ideas, because creating such a controller isn't hard, even though the Amico kids couldn't pull it off.

Off the bat, going the Arcade route, similar to what was done with Centipede and Atari Trakball support, "Food Fight AAE"  Analog Arcade Edition Hack. 

 

A controller hack for Basketbrawl may work too.

 

For games that have yet to be ported to the console, there is Sinistar.  Williams Blaster also would work well with this controller, as would their game Bubbles.

 

Arcade Star Wars would probably be a pleasant experience too.

Hmm.. seems like a good controller option if a finished version of Fractalus were ever found?

RoF is a great call.

 

All the gun games would work well here as well:  Alien Brigade, Barnyard Blaster, Crossbow, Meltdown.

 

Even Crack'ed, which should have been light gun optional.  

 

A port of Cheyenne would be a first for a home console.

 

We now have Ducks Away (WIP) too which would probably work well with such a controller.

Matey, Angry Birds is a great idea, that would be even cooler with an analog stick.  Hmm.
