Joshua8600
Hello. I recently got an Atari GSP new (open-box) for around 30 bucks. I think it's great so far! However, I have some questions about adding games; specifically, controller compatibility and updating/upgrading cores used. I already have community FW v1.30c installed, and my GSP can read many systems (NES, GB, GBC, GBA, Sega GG, Sega MS, Sega MD) really well. However, I tried using a guide (I think for the PCUAE AGSP Games Manager, but I can't remember) to add Intellivision support, but I couldn't get it to work. Plus, SNES games run, but *extremely* poorly. Not only that, I can't really get any controllers to work. I heard Xbox One controller works out of the gate when plugged in, but it doesn't (for me, at least). So, this is a summary of my questions: 1. How can I update/upgrade the core for SNES to be playable? 2. How can I add new cores or other systems to be playable (I heard C64 can run somehow. What about Lynx? PS1?) 3. How can I add support for controllers that I can get a *response* out of, but not full functionality? SNES will always be slow and choppy so I would skip those games, GSP can't handle it. in my opinion , I would only stick to 80's and some 90's arcades, Sega Master System, CD and Genesis, Atari 2600,7800, Some 5200, NES, GB,GBC, GBA is slow and choppy also Turbo Graph 16 works good also. Anything with two buttons should be OK. Other than that a it is a crap shoot on what works and dont, I can't get the app to work on my system ( I am basic at best with this stuff) So I add manually the artwork,Roms and edit the INI file (time consuming yes but keeps me occupied) I only use the GSP controllers as I am trying to keep it all in one system , I wish I can get 2600 Kaboom to work with the paddle with the 1.30C brad firmware, I can do it , if I go into a made folder on my SD but want to keep it with my modified selections like what @jonreddick showed on one of his current videos Edited August 3 by Marky316
Jess Ragan
Geez, what's in this thing, anyway? A hamster wheel? Even the PSP (released twenty years ago) can more or less handle Super Nintendo games!

It seems those original paddle titles are whitelisted somewhere in the code and if that ROMname is seen it'll provide paddle support.
