I don’t know. I have a deck of PlayStation playing cards, you can now pre-order a Nintendo alarm clock, and Xbox has a refrigerator and toaster. 
 

I’ll be the first person to go on record that I am neither into nor a fan of crypto at all.  But I respectfully disagree with regards to standards or quality control. As long as the hot sauce is actually good and the speaker hats work, then I think standards and quality control have been met. 
 

Now I totally get what you mean. I just think that offering fun, non-core products your customers isn’t a bad thing. And Atari is by no means alone in doing so in the gaming space. I think the problem was when not so long ago licensing their name out on these types of products was ALL they did. When it is simply a part of their overall business however, it can be fun, encourage engagement, and drive incremental revenue. That last one in particular is important as they continue to actually develop/publish games and hardware (hallelujah). But I suspect it’s probably more to promote engagement and the fact that it likely requires absolutely no work on Atari’s part aside from some basic vetting and review.

And you have been found guilty of treason!  I don't know how Atari pimping their name and IP is any different than any other company.  They all seem to do it in some fashion.  I have a speaker hat and while it's not exactly practical, it is of very high quality.  A regular hat is $30 bucks anyway and I got the Spaeakerhat on sale for $50.  Not a bad deal in my opinion.

I am definitely into whiskey and beer and TOTALLY want these!  I already have a lot of beer mugs, and man that  decanter is so cool. Sorry….for me it’s whiskey first!  🤣 I need to add it to my Christmas list before I forget!
