Certainly I didn’t see the last lot when I got the notification from Blaze, but Funstock always has pre-orders available when I get the email. We still have one on Argyle Street in Glasgow. Still the only place I can find to play pinball, though it’s just a couple of newer Stern machines in the basement with the music. Shame the multi-story one on Sauchiehall closed years ago - they had several pinball machines like a wee arcade! Whilst Argos seems to list pre-orders a little late, their delivery time (always arrived early for me) is excellent. Also they deliver for free, no minimum order value to get that, unlike Funstock where you need to spend the value of two carts . They also take the money on dispatch. Older carts are discounted too! But yeah the late listing is enough to spook buyers into using Funstock despite their other shortcomings. HMV stores were very cool. As a music and gaming fan they were a real place of treasure! Great to walk round. I just checked their website and there are still three stores within six miles of my house. I should go in one, help to keep it alive. Would be awesome to see 2600/7800 carts on the shelves. 😊 4 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/371209-atari-7800-announced-along-with-10-new-games-and-2-new-controllers/page/30/#findComment-5547406 Share on other sites

MrChickenz
Wow! Not sure if anyone posted on this before but the Atari Website has the Atari 2600+ Controller Mega Bundle also. On sale right now for 169.95 that’s a great deal. In that bundle you also get the CX7800+ wired controller, CX30+ Paddles, and two DB9 Extension Cables. Which comes out to $10.00 a piece. BTC
Has anyone heard any updates on when the 7800+ consoles will start shipping? I don't have a 2600+ and am really looking forward to the new one which will supplement my original 2600. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/371209-atari-7800-announced-along-with-10-new-games-and-2-new-controllers/page/30/#findComment-5553697 Share on other sites

It’s the same price sold separately as it is for the 2 in 1. When I purchased mine from AtariAge it had the option to add the box. I paid $55.00, if you do the math Atari sells them separately for $29.00 each that’s $60.00. They each have their own box, manual and cartridge. I would prefer to have them separately. The $5.00 difference would be for the extra box, manual and cartridge! That’s a great deal because to add just a box for a game on AtariAge costs $15.00. But I do think it was done to make more money. Or maybe make it seem like they have a bigger lineup. Personally, i'm glad that my game has an option to switch between the modes. From a financial and marketing perspective separating them is actually a good idea overall in keeping distinction for both of them. I never did like Frenzy and would rather just have Berzerk alone. Box would also look peculiar with Frenzy plus Berzerk on it, would prefer them apart from a physical perspective. For an AA import to Germany I would pay with shipping, tax and stuff almost 100€ for the cart. When I got it, it was a bit cheaper. The separate games go for 29,99€ each, no shipping cost if you have Amazon prime. And to be honest, I only played Berzerk... but I plan to play Frenzy... some day😊 2 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/371209-atari-7800-announced-along-with-10-new-games-and-2-new-controllers/page/30/#findComment-5555221 Share on other sites
